Far East Battery Supports Green Energy Upgrade of Taizhou Energy Storage Power Station
Categories:Date:2026-02-11
Driven by China’s “Dual-Carbon” goals and sustained policy support, user-side energy storage is accelerating its adoption across manufacturing scenarios. Addressing the challenges of concentrated electrical loads, high peak power demand, and stringent requirements for power supply stability in industrial operations, Far East Battery supported the energy storage project at Shenyuan Group’s Taifu Industrial Plant in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province. By deploying a commercial and industrial energy storage system, the project systematically enhances power regulation capability and operational stability for the enterprise.

Located in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, the project has a total installed capacity of 10MW/20MWh. To meet both construction requirements and long-term stable operation, Far East Battery delivered an integrated energy storage system solution, comprising four 5MWh DC-side energy storage containers, two 5MW string PCS step-up integrated systems, and one intelligent EMS energy management system. This highly integrated and efficiently coordinated system architecture establishes a solid foundation for the safe, stable, and reliable operation of the power station.
The project adopts Far East Battery’s liquid-cooled energy storage container PowerSTROM 5000, featuring a standard single-container capacity of 5.016MWh. With high energy density, high efficiency, strong system stability, and flexible configuration, the product is well suited for industrial energy storage applications. The 20-foot container is designed with single-side access and supports a multi-level fire protection architecture with coordinated safety systems. Combined with an intelligent thermal management system, it enables precise control of system temperature and temperature differentials, improving operational efficiency while extending battery cycle life and effectively reducing long-term operating costs—providing reliable support for enterprises’ green energy use.

Supported by the intelligent EMS, the energy storage station dynamically optimizes charging and discharging strategies based on real-time load conditions and time-of-use electricity pricing. The system charges during off-peak periods and discharges during peak hours to achieve peak shaving and valley filling, thereby reducing overall electricity costs. During high-load periods, the energy storage system participates in power supply, effectively smoothing maximum demand, optimizing power distribution resources, enhancing power stability, and mitigating the impact of grid fluctuations on continuous production.
The successful implementation of this project not only helps the enterprise achieve cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and low-carbon development, but also provides a replicable and scalable reference for the large-scale application of new energy storage solutions in energy-intensive manufacturing industries.
Moving forward, Far East Battery will continue to deepen its presence in the user-side energy storage sector, focusing on system safety, economic performance, and coordinated operation capabilities. Through continuous product and solution innovation, the company remains committed to supporting manufacturing enterprises in accelerating their green and low-carbon transformation and contributing to the realization of China’s “Dual-Carbon” goals.
