CBIS 2023 | Far East Battery Won China Battery Industry "Lithium Think Award" Annual Innovation Enterprise

On November 28th to 30th, the 8th International Summit on Power Battery Applications (CBIS2023) was grandly held at the Marriott Hotel Baohua in Shanghai. This summit is jointly hosted by the China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association and Battery China Network, with the theme of "Service, Cooperation, and Win-Win progress-Embracing the 'New Globalization' Era". It brings together well-known enterprises and industry experts in the power battery industry chain at home and abroad to actively discuss and exchange related technologies and future development directions of the new energy and power battery industry. Dr. Wang Zuocheng from Far East Battery was invited to attend the conference and delivered a keynote speech titled "Prospects and Challenges of Large Cylindrical Cells".

At the "Lithium Think Award" ceremony of this summit, Far East Battery was awarded the "Innovative Enterprise of the Year" for its forward-looking and innovative product technology, as well as years of accumulated customer reputation, which not only affirms and recognizes continuous innovation of Far East Battery, but also highlights its comprehensive strength and product advantages.

Innovation is the development gene of Far East batteries. Faced with the rapidly changing market development speed, Far East Battery has closely followed the market trend, adopts customer-oriented approach, and continuously improved its product competitiveness. It has developed a series of 18650 and 21700 series products with high specific energy and high rate, established a diversified and widely applied product matrix, to comprehensively meet the needs of different application scenarios in the small power market.

In response to market demand and technological upgrades, Far East Battery not only took the lead in mass production of ultra wide temperature ranges of 18650-4000mAh and 21700-6000mAh, but also broke through the production capacity limits of 18650 and 21700 series batteries, gaining high recognition from leading customers in segmented markets such as E-bike, electric tools, and smart homes. Under the trend of sodium battery industrialization, Far East Battery has also made forward-looking strategic plan. The first generation cylindrical sodium ion battery cell product has entered the B-sample stage, with a single energy density of 120Wh/kg and over 2000 cycles at normal temperature . When charged at normal temperature for 20 minutes, the battery capacity can reach 80%. In severe tests such as overcharging, over discharging, needle puncture, and heavy object impact, it does not ignite or explode.

Far East Battery has been deeply involved in the new energy industry for many years, with strong research and development capabilities and rich manufacturing experience. On this occasion, Dr. Wang Zuocheng from Far East Battery shared the current situation and various challenges faced by the lithium battery industry, focusing on three aspects: structure, system, and system integration, to achieve comprehensive technological innovation of large cylindrical battery cells from individual to system.
