Supporting Guangdong's Zero-Carbon Development, Co-creating a New Journey in Energy Transition

With the rapid increase in renewable energy generation facilities, the energy storage market is evolving rapidly. In Guangdong Province, for example, energy storage projects are categorized into grid-connected security projects, market-oriented grid-connected projects, and reserve grid-connected projects, each with specific energy storage configuration requirements. For grid-connected security projects, Guangdong requires that, starting in 2025, offshore wind, onshore wind, and solar power projects with installed capacities greater than 30 MW must have energy storage devices configured at no less than 10% of the project capacity, with a continuous storage duration of no less than 2 hours.
Far East actively responds to these policy guidelines, innovating product solutions to support the construction of energy storage facilities for Guangdong Yue Shou New Technology. Recently, the project has completed batch deliveries, with a total energy storage capacity of 1MW/2.33MWh, ensuring the company's transition to green energy.
The product solutions utilize Far East's outdoor liquid-cooled integrated cabinet, POWERPLANT 230 PLUS, which employs multi-level coordination to ensure real-time battery protection. The system provides hierarchical control for secure switching and protection, offering not only reliable safety performance but also achieving a discharge depth of up to 98%, increasing battery life by 30%, and helping customers reduce initial investment by over 20% with outstanding performance.
The grid connection of the Guangdong Yue Shou New Technology project demonstrates the critical role of Far East Battery’s energy storage technology in optimizing energy management and reducing enterprise electricity costs. It provides effective practice for energy saving, emission reduction, and green energy applications. By integrating time-of-use pricing, photovoltaic power generation, and energy storage systems, the project has achieved peak shaving and valley filling, improving the utilization of green power, reducing losses from grid electricity, and promoting the widespread application of sustainable energy. Furthermore, these projects provide practical energy-saving and emission-reduction solutions for industrial and commercial users in Guangdong, helping enterprises achieve a win-win in economic and environmental benefits.
