Far East Battery Explores Source Network-side Full-Scenario High-Efficiency Solutions

After the energy storage industry in China achieved leapfrog development driven by policies, it is now accelerating its transformation toward marketization. With the cancellation of mandatory energy storage requirements, the core of industry competition has shifted towards cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and the exploration of value in multiple scenarios. The PowerSTORM 5000 liquid-cooled energy storage container independently developed by Far East Energy Storage has a standard capacity of 5.016MWh, featuring high energy efficiency, stability, reliability, and flexible configuration. The product adopts a standard 20-foot single-side door design, enabling multi-level fire protection architecture and multi-level linkage safeguards. The intelligent temperature control system effectively manages temperature rise and temperature difference, significantly improving the system's cycle life. Recently, the product has been gradually delivered and is now in operation and grid-connected.
The 800MWh independent energy storage power station in Hebei, currently the largest string-type energy storage station in China, deploys 160 sets of PowerSTORM 5000 series liquid-cooled energy storage containers, effectively alleviating the peak-valley pressure on the regional power grid. This independent energy storage station can provide leasing services to new energy power plants and participate in grid peak shaving, frequency regulation, and market transactions, contributing to the transformation of the energy structure and the development of green, low-carbon energy.
The 20MWh energy storage station project of Zhongtian Steel utilizes an intelligent charge and discharge strategy to dynamically regulate the electricity load of the park, significantly saving on electricity costs, and demonstrating both economic and practical value. Based on the peak-valley electricity prices for large industries in Jiangsu, the estimated payback period is about 4 years, with electricity cost savings of approximately 37.12 million yuan during the operational period.
