He pointed out that against the strategic backdrop of"dual carbon", namely Carbon peak &carbon neutrality, global energy transition becomes imperative, enabling energy storage market to gain momentum to spike high. Stakeholders stand equal in the face of unprecedented opportunities, and need to build integrated and vertical product development strategy to stand out outstandingly in the fierce competition in energy storage field in a middle and long run.

At the very beginning of entering the ESS market, Far East Battery follows closely market demand to commit to ceaseless innovation and breakthroughs, and delivers to  end users its ESS product matrix covering cell, module, pack and energy storage system. Attributing to cell-oriented approach featuring low cost, high safety performance and long service life, FEB has won considerable market share along with furnishing overseas customers with tailored products and solutions. Its independently developed 305 AH prismatic cell, with the characteristics of large weight ratio ≥180Wh/kg, 10,000 times of cycle life at normal temperature, 5000 times of cycle life at higher temperature,95 % discharge efficiency at rated charge-discharge power, convenient and efficient parallel &serial connection of PACKS, aims to meet market demand on reducing cost.

Continuous innovation is of critical importance for enterprises to win the market. Deeply engaged in the new energy industry for years, Far East Battery has built diversified product matrix, including portable power bank, RESS, C&I ESS and ESS container. Besides, its competitive edges in RESS, grid transmission and new energy power generation complement each other, targeting multiple application scenarios covering power generation, transmission, electric load and energy storage. It is needed to point out that Far East Group to which Far East Battery is affiliated, has been involved in electric energy for consecutive several decades, with its business mainly comprising electric cables, batteries and airport construction, wherein Far East Cable is the principle partner of leading enterprises in segmented market, establishes strategic partnership with over 2000 world and domestic top 500 companies, and has delivered services to more than 10 million customers up till now. Its C&I customers and domestic sales network inject vigor and vitality to FEB competitive strength in the C&I ESS market and lays the corner stone for the coordinated cable&battery development strategy of Far East Group.

Professor Xiang pointed out that while FEB RESS series products gaining increasing popularity in overseas market, Far East Battery has gotten ready to put the first generation 40t &20t ESS containers into production; the second generation, rooted in the technologies of DC side liquid cooling plus innovative cluster management, and based on smart, automatic and informationized manufacturing system and safety design, is endowed with the sound performance of long-term stability and reliability; meanwhile, Far East Battery also proactively plans for its third generation ESS containers to achieve more efficient refrigeration, higher integration and better compatibility in an endeavor to foster its strength in delivering high-quality ESS products for power generation.

Looking ahead, Far East Battery, with innovation at its core, continues to dedicate itself to offering customers with all-scenario solutions and doing its bit in achieving the goals of Carbon peak and carbon neutrality along with its efforts in boosting the application of new green energies.
