Recently, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China announced the list of National Green Factories for 2025. Jiangxi Far East Battery was included in the list and awarded the national “Green Factory” title, recognizing the company’s solid foundation in green manufacturing and its well-established energy management system.

Jiangxi Far East Battery has long focused on the research, development, and manufacturing of high-capacity cylindrical cells. In 2022, the company introduced the 21700-60A cylindrical cell, achieving the world’s highest energy density among mass-produced small cylindrical batteries at the time. In 2025, the company further launched the 21700-68E high-capacity cylindrical cell, continuing to advance the energy density performance of small cylindrical batteries. With continuous technological iteration around high-capacity and high-energy-density products, the company has achieved key performance indicators of 320Wh/kg and 900Wh/L for its 18650 and 21700 cells. High energy density technology not only increases energy output per unit volume and weight, but also improves material utilization efficiency and overall system performance, providing strong technical support for green manufacturing. The products have obtained multiple international safety certifications and are widely used in applications such as drones, robotics, and smart home devices.

As part of its green manufacturing system development, the company has continuously promoted automation upgrades and refined production management. It operates one of the world’s leading cylindrical cell production lines for high-capacity 21700 batteries, equipped with fully imported high-speed automated production lines. Each line achieves an efficiency of 200 PPM, with dual-line parallel operation and a planned capacity of 3 GWh. The production environment is managed according to Class 10,000 cleanliness standards. More than 300 online monitoring points are deployed throughout the production process, supported by inspection systems including Hi-pot, CCD, X-ray, β-ray, and JRC, enabling comprehensive in-line inspection. The MES system and foreign object tracking system ensure product quality control and full traceability of manufacturing data. Through enhanced automation and process energy optimization, the company continues to improve production efficiency while reducing resource consumption.
