Far East battery actively responds to the policy guidance and uses its mature product solutions to assist the construction of supporting energy storage facilities in the salt chemical industry in Jiangsu Province. This project is located in Huai'an City and aims to build an industrial and commercial energy storage power station for Hongze Dayang Salt Chemical Company. In the project, a set of Far East Battery's 3.34MW/6.7MWh energy storage system is configured, adopting 10KV grid connection technology. Through the peak shaving and valley filling function of the Energy Management System (EMS), it effectively charges and discharges electricity during peak and valley periods, realizes peak-valley arbitrage, and enhances the enterprise's demand-side response capability.
The project all adopts Far East Energy Storage's liquid-cooled energy storage container PowerSTROM 5000, whose standard capacity reaches 5.016MWh, and it has remarkable features such as high energy density, high efficiency, strong stability, and flexible configuration. This product adopts a standard 20-foot single-side door opening design and supports the construction of a multi-level fire protection architecture and a multi-level linkage guarantee system. Its intelligent temperature control system can effectively manage the temperature rise and temperature difference, thereby increasing the system efficiency by 1% and extending the system cycle life by 10%. It helps to reduce long-term operating costs and ensures the economic and environmental benefits of enterprises during the process of transforming to green energy.
After the successful grid connection of this project, it will help Hongze Dayang Salt Chemical Company further optimize energy management and reduce the enterprise's electricity costs, providing an effective practice for the enterprise's energy conservation, emission reduction and green energy application. By "peak-valley arbitrage", it stores low-price electricity during the valley period and uses it during the peak period, reducing the electricity bill expenditure. It suppresses the power demand during the peak electricity consumption period and reduces the transformer capacity cost. Through demand response and auxiliary services, it can obtain additional benefits and ensure the stability of power supply. As a backup power source, it can avoid the impact of power outages or voltage fluctuations on production and improve production continuity.
