On April 24th, the grid connection ceremony of the 10MW/20MWh energy storage power station project of Zhongtian Iron and Steel Group (Nantong) Co., Ltd. was held within the Nantong Park of Zhongtian Iron and Steel. Zhang Junjie, Executive Deputy General Manager of Zhongtian Iron and Steel (Nantong) Co., Ltd., Zang Xuesong, Deputy General Manager of Zhongtian Iron and Steel (Nantong) Co., Ltd. and the leader in charge of the Energy Control Center, Fang Shenzhou, Director of the Energy Control Center; Tian Xu, Senior Partner and Customer Officer of Far East Co., Ltd., Cheng Ting, Senior Partner and Senior Account Manager of Far East Co., Ltd., Wu Lunzhen, Delivery Manager; Zhou Lingxia, Executive President of Jiangsu Kunlun Hulian New Energy Co., Ltd., Song Zhenghua, Chief Engineer, and other leaders attended the grid connection ceremony.

This project adopts the Far East Energy Storage liquid-cooled energy storage container PowerSTROM 5000 20-foot battery compartment. It integrates large-capacity 314Ah battery cells and 104S long Pack technology, with a single-side opening door. It achieves higher capacity and efficiency while occupying less floor space. The capacity of the 20-foot container is as high as 5.0159MWh, and it is equipped with an intelligent energy management system, which is widely applicable to scenarios such as wind and solar energy storage, shared power stations, or large-scale user-side energy storage.

The 10MW/20MWh energy storage power station project of Zhongtian Iron and Steel adopts an operation strategy of two charging and two discharging cycles, which is self-invested by the owner. The project uses equipment with the first-level energy efficiency and C5 anti-corrosion grade, ensuring the economic efficiency, safety and reliable operation of the power station. This project helps the enterprise optimize its energy structure, improve energy utilization efficiency, reduce energy consumption and costs, respond to the national call for green development and sustainable development, and promote green transformation.
