Far East Battery Defines a New Paradigm for C&I ESS, with the 520 Outdoor Liquid-Cooled Energy Storage Cabinet Launched

At the SNEC 2025 Photovoltaic and Smart Energy Conference, Far East Battery made a brilliant appearance with a variety of new energy storage products. Among them, the PowerPLANT 520 PLUS outdoor liquid-cooled energy storage cabinet, which focuses on commercial and industrial scenarios, has become one of the focuses at the exhibition due to its efficient delivery advantages of reducing the construction period by 50% and the floor space by 30%, combined with AI algorithms to achieve intelligent scheduling.

With the successive adjustment of time-of-use electricity price policies in many regions, since 2025, the peak-valley price difference in many provinces across the country has been significantly narrowed. The traditional logic of "arbitrage by price difference" is no longer viable, and the C&I ESS market has gradually entered a "precision calculation period". On the one hand, the income from electricity prices is under pressure; on the other hand, the main customers of the projects have begun to focus on the whole life cycle cost and operational stability of the system. Safety, intelligence level and long-term operation and maintenance capabilities are becoming the core of selection. The market is shifting from competition in single-point performance to a comprehensive competition in the ability of integrated solutions.

Against this background, Far East Battery launched the PowerPLANT 520 PLUS new C&I ESS product. The product adopts an integrated module design, and the whole product does not need on-site assembly of combiner boxes, which can realize rapid deployment and reduce the number of parallel machines. On the premise of ensuring the same capacity, the construction period is shortened by 50% and the floor space is reduced by 30%. In terms of performance, the product has a "≥8000 cycle life". Combined with the dual-circuit thermal management design of the cells, the system temperature difference is ≤2.5℃, ensuring the stable and balanced temperature of the whole cabinet. Combined with AI algorithm for intelligent scheduling, it supports remote OTA upgrade and dual-end energy consumption optimization, continuously improving operating revenue in multi-scenario applications. In terms of safety, the PowerPLANT 520 PLUS is equipped with multi-level active fire protection and overcurrent protection mechanisms, and a combination of monitoring methods can detect hidden dangers in advance to protect the safety of equipment.
