On December 27, at the annual public-interest recognition event of the new energy storage industry—the Golden Energy Storage Awards—Far East Battery Jiangsu Co., Ltd. was honored with the “Outstanding Enterprise” award. At the same time, the Hebei 800MWh string-type independent energy storage power station developed by Far East Energy Storage was selected as a Grid-Side Energy Storage Demonstration Base, providing a practical reference for grid-side energy storage project development.

The Golden Energy Storage Award is an important annual recognition for brand development in China’s new energy storage industry and enjoys broad industry visibility and influence. The selection process follows principles of fairness, openness, and impartiality, with comprehensive evaluation criteria covering product innovation, technology application, brand influence, industry contribution, and social responsibility. Far East Battery’s inclusion reflects the industry’s recognition of the company’s sustained investment and comprehensive capabilities in the energy storage sector.

As a key supporting project for this recognition, the 200MW/800MWh string-type independent energy storage power station built by Far East Energy Storage in Hengshui, Hebei Province, was successfully connected to the grid at the end of December 2024. The project is currently the largest string-type independent energy storage power station in China. Far East Energy Storage provided the complete energy storage system equipment along with timely and high-quality operation and maintenance services.

Since commissioning, the project has delivered diversified services including peak shaving, frequency regulation, and demand response. It also supports energy storage leasing for renewable power plants and participation in market-based power trading, effectively enhancing renewable energy integration and improving power system flexibility. The project demonstrates the practical value of large-scale grid-side energy storage in supporting energy structure optimization and low-carbon regional development.

This recognition highlights Far East Battery’s technical expertise, system integration capabilities, and large-scale project delivery strengths in the field of new energy storage.
