Covering an area of approximately 48 mu, the project involves the construction of an electrochemical energy storage power station. In response to the project’s requirements, Far East Energy Storage delivered a comprehensive system-level solution, including battery containers, integrated PCS and step-up transformer units, an intelligent EMS energy management system, and supporting Far East cables, achieving highly integrated system deployment.

On the AC side, the system adopts a 35kV grid-connection scheme, with four 35kV collector lines connected to a 110kV substation. The overall solution features a high level of integration, simplified installation, and convenient operation and maintenance, providing a solid foundation for efficient construction and long-term stable operation.

The project deploys Far East Energy Storage’s liquid-cooled PowerSTROM 5000 energy storage container, with a standard capacity of 5.016MWh per unit. The solution offers high energy density, high efficiency, strong stability, and flexible configuration. Each 20-foot container adopts a single-side door design and supports a multi-level fire protection architecture with coordinated safety systems. Its intelligent thermal management system effectively controls temperature and temperature differentials, improving system efficiency, extending cycle life, and reducing long-term operating costs while ensuring a high level of safety.

After commissioning, the power station will provide diversified services, including peak shaving and frequency regulation, participation in the electricity spot market, capacity leasing for renewable energy plants, and power supply and sales services for industrial and commercial users within the park. These capabilities will help mitigate the intermittency and volatility of renewable power generation, continuously enhancing the safety, stability, and flexibility of the regional power system, and providing reliable energy support for high-quality economic and social development in the development zone.

Against the backdrop of rapid growth in renewable energy installations and ongoing improvements in power market mechanisms, higher requirements are being placed on the safety, reliability, and engineering adaptability of energy storage systems. Looking ahead, Far East Energy Storage will continue to build on the experience gained from this project, further optimizing product performance and system solutions to meet diverse grid and application scenarios, and delivering reliable, deployable energy storage solutions in support of the new power system.
