Categories:Date:2026-05-19

On May 18, Far East Battery and Star Era Energy (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd. successfully held a strategic empowerment session. Following the official signing of a strategic cooperation agreement during ESIE Beijing 2026 and the accelerated implementation of related projects, the two parties further carried out in-depth discussions on commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage investment and operation, project collaboration, AI-powered energy management, and ecosystem cooperation, continuously deepening their collaboration in the field of energy storage investment and operation.

Centered around the theme of “Win-Win Collaboration, Deepened Synergy,” the session brought together core teams from both Far East Battery and Star Era Energy, while all domestic account managers joined online.

At the beginning of the meeting, Tang Yun, Head of East China Region at Star Era Energy, delivered a keynote sharing on “Why We Firmly Invest in and Operate Energy Storage Power Stations.” From industry development trends and investment boundaries to operational strategies, he systematically introduced the company’s strategic thinking in the C&I energy storage sector. Through AI-powered end-to-end capability matrices and typical application cases across manufacturing, food processing, PV-storage integration, and energy trading collaboration, the session further analyzed revenue models and operational strategies for different regions and application scenarios.

During the executive dialogue session, both sides reviewed their cooperation journey and conducted in-depth discussions on collaboration mechanisms, resource integration, and future support directions in project development. Both parties agreed that, as industry competition gradually shifts from “price-oriented” to “value-oriented,” project screening capability, asset operation capability, and long-term service capability will become the core competitive advantages in the future C&I energy storage market.

Ma Chenglong, Senior Partner of Far East Battery and President of the Energy Storage Research Institute, stated that as the industry accelerates into an era of refined operation, energy storage enterprises need to evolve from single-product suppliers into providers of integrated scenario-based solutions and long-term service capabilities.

“This strategic empowerment session is not only about sharing experience, but also an important step for both sides to jointly establish standards, optimize mechanisms, and improve collaboration efficiency for future market development,” said Ma.

Han Zhiguo, Senior Vice President of Star Era Energy, noted that the C&I energy storage industry is gradually shifting from “equipment competition” to “operation competition.” He emphasized that the core factors determining project value in the future will be long-term operational capability, revenue management capability, and full lifecycle project management capability.

“Our cooperation is not limited to project-level collaboration, but also represents the deep integration of capability systems and ecosystem resources,” Han added.

In the subsequent project workshop session, both sides systematically reviewed the progress of typical projects and analyzed projects that had been advanced, delayed, or suspended. Online and offline teams engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics including investment boundaries, project quality, channel collaboration, and commercial conditions, further clarifying project screening standards and collaboration optimization directions to lay a stronger foundation for future large-scale cooperation.

Cui Dong, Senior Partner and Chief Customer Officer of Far East Holdings / Far East Battery, stated that the C&I energy storage market is rapidly evolving from “scale expansion” toward “value operation,” making project execution capability and long-term operational capability increasingly important.

“This empowerment session not only helped our teams further align project evaluation standards, but also enabled deeper consensus between both sides in project development logic, operational strategies, and collaboration mechanisms. Going forward, we hope to continue strengthening resource integration and capability synergy to jointly enhance project quality and market competitiveness,” Cui said.

Today, the C&I energy storage sector is entering the era of “operational value,” where competition is evolving from simple peak-valley arbitrage toward comprehensive energy management and full lifecycle operation. This strategic empowerment session not only deepened collaboration between Far East Battery and Star Era Energy, but also opened broader opportunities for both sides in the field of energy storage investment and operation.

Looking ahead, Far East Battery will continue to focus on its energy storage business, deepen ecosystem cooperation and scenario-based applications, and deliver more efficient, reliable, and long-term value-oriented energy storage solutions to support the high-quality development of green energy worldwide.
