Far East Battery Powers Hengshui’s First 10MWh Textile Industry Solar-Storage Project
Categories:Date:2025-09-17
Far East Battery has successfully supported the commissioning of a 5MW/10MWh C&I energy storage project in Hengshui High-Tech Zone, marking the city’s first solar-storage demonstration project in the textile sector. This milestone showcases Far East Battery’s role as a technology and service leader, delivering integrated solutions that combine solar, storage, and intelligent management to accelerate the low-carbon transformation of traditional manufacturing industries.
The project is configured with 40 units of 261kWh outdoor liquid-cooled storage cabinets and a station-level intelligent EMS. With ten grid-connection points linked to the industrial park’s busbar, the system is seamlessly integrated with onsite solar generation and peak-valley electricity pricing mechanisms. Far East Battery’s self-developed EMS enables unified power dispatch, achieving efficient solar-storage synergy and effectively reducing electricity costs for the enterprise.
At the core of the system is the PowerPLANT 260 PLUS, a next-generation outdoor liquid-cooled storage cabinet designed for high-performance applications. Each cabinet occupies less than 1.2m² of land while delivering 15% higher energy density and over 90% system efficiency. Powered by advanced 314Ah cells, the system achieves a cell temperature difference within 3°C and extends cycle life by 20%. Safety is ensured through active fire protection, explosion venting, smart dehumidification, and AC/DC triple-level protection, enabling rapid fault isolation. The product also supports remote OTA upgrades, cloud diagnostics, and intelligent O&M, with plug-and-play deployment for maximum efficiency.
Upon full operation, the system will leverage solar-storage synergy to significantly improve green electricity utilization. With fast response capability, it will secure the stable and continuous operation of textile production lines, increase the share of renewable energy consumption, and reduce electricity expenses. The project is expected to deliver both economic and ecological benefits, setting a benchmark for sustainable development in the textile industry.

With 40 years of expertise in the power energy sector and 16 years in lithium battery innovation, Far East Battery continues to integrate cutting-edge storage technologies with smart energy management. By accelerating the deployment of its North China project cluster, the company is building intelligent energy solutions for C&I, industrial parks, and public utilities, contributing to industrial upgrading, energy structure optimization, and the realization of global carbon neutrality goals.
