Far East Battery Accelerates Energy Transition in Hebei with Solar-Storage Integration Project
Categories:Date:2025-09-23
Under supportive policies, traditional manufacturing industries are facing both opportunities and challenges in their transition toward green and low-carbon development. Far East Battery actively responds to this trend, having already delivered multiple mature energy solutions for Hebei’s textile sector and accumulated extensive application experience. Building on this foundation, Far East Battery is pioneering the integrated “PV + Energy Storage + Smart Management” model, providing complete ESS equipment together with timely and reliable O&M services. This approach offers enterprises a clean, efficient, and cost-effective energy pathway, accelerating their shift toward low-carbon operations.

The latest project, located in Hengshui, Hebei Province, has a capacity of 5MW/10MWh. The system includes 40 sets of 261kWh PowerPLANT 260 PLUS outdoor liquid-cooled ESS cabinets and one station-level EMS, connected to 10 grid nodes within the industrial park. Equipped with Far East’s self-developed EMS platform, the project enables remote management and rapid fault response, significantly improving operational safety and ensuring stable, long-term energy support for the enterprise.
The PowerPLANT 260 PLUS integrates high efficiency, safety, and intelligence. With a footprint of less than 1.2 m² per unit, it delivers over 15% higher energy density and system efficiency exceeding 90%. Powered by 314Ah cells, it maintains a temperature variation within 3°C, extending cycle life by 20%. Safety is reinforced through active fire protection, explosion relief, smart dehumidification, and triple AC/DC protection, allowing faults to be swiftly isolated. On the digital side, it supports remote OTA upgrades, cloud-based diagnostics, and smart operation control. Its plug-and-play design with pre-commissioning and EMS strategy generation ensures rapid deployment and streamlined operation.
Once operational, the system will significantly improve the utilization of on-site solar PV, aligning clean energy generation with production demand. By leveraging peak-valley electricity pricing, it reduces overall energy costs while optimizing the factory’s energy structure and economic performance. The project stands as a replicable model for green, low-carbon transformation within the textile industry.
Far East Battery has deep roots in the energy sector, backed by 40 years of expertise in power energy and 16 years of experience in lithium battery technology. Moving forward, the company will continue to collaborate with industry partners, advancing the application of ESS across diverse scenarios. By driving the integration of green energy and traditional industries, Far East Battery empowers enterprises to achieve both cost reduction and low-carbon development——contributing to industrial upgrading, economic transformation, and sustainable growth.
